(Anonymous) 2007-10-15 10:14 pm (UTC)(link)DN isn't my fandom, but the ones I do play around in are comparable in size and possibly batshit insane creds. Still, I've never understood the logic behind transfer hate, i.e. hating on a character/pairing because its fans are retarded. It's this... stressing so much over what other people get up to bit that confuses me.
Here, an example. I hate Hidan of Naruto. Think he's boring, kind of annoying, don't get all the hype surrounding his presence in the manga. On my flist are some of the biggest and arguably notorious Hidan fans in the fandom. We get along famously. Pun intended.
