I really wish that the comms for my old ships were still active there. All the action seems to have moved to Tumblr, and it's hard to find anything or have a sense of community there. Anybody else have the same issues?

I just checked to see if pottersues was still kicking. They get three or two comments a day. I miss deletrius.

Only two or three? :( I used to love deletrius.

Ugh, seriously? I'm embarrassed to remember that there was a time when I not only liked Deleterius, but thought that tviokh was anything other than a self-adoring, bloviating windbag.

As a writer, sunday_reveries was my everything. It still is, but LJ is doing some sort of weird cleanup, and I'm scared the owner of that community will neglect it and LJ will delete it.

And a big yes to All the action seems to have moved to Tumblr, and it's hard to find anything or have a sense of community there.

Yes, I like gifs and pretty pictures, but I want the Livejournal kind of community back, issues and all.

Haven't been over to LJ in a couple years, but I agree that the action seems to have moved to Tumblr and, for me, it's really not the space where I find any sense of community. I miss the old LJ days.

I don't hate tumblr, but this. And I seriously miss the old big group discussions that would happen on communities. On tumblr discussions don't seem to expand much outside of a small conversation between a few people

I was pretty active in a very small book fandom, but it died on Livejournal. Apparently, there is a new generation of fans who try reviving it on tumblr, and I should be happy about it but I have absolutely no interest in it. Mostly because they all love the books sequels so much - which I think sucked - and they are the typical tumblr kids who squee and circlejerk about their lulz so random or oh so original AU ideas that are a big fat OOC-fest and meh, just not my thing anymore.

Ship_manifesto. It's kind of silly to write an essay with points to show how your ship works, but they're really fun and interesting to read gave references and fic recs.

I loved that comm. :( I miss it too. Would love to see manifesto's for my latest pairings.

I'm just glad that masseffect is still around and active.

There's someone on LJ who has started a bunch of communities that... well, if they were ever active they sure aren't now, and she does nothing to keep them active to the point where I'm half convinced she's a bot. She doesn't even reply to her own discussion posts. Ever. (If it's a she.)

I wish there was some way to draw people on tumblr to livejournal communities. Maybe make a ressurectlivejournal tumblr and showcase communities that people like? Would anyone be interested in that?

I don't know if it would work but it's probably worth a try! I'd be interested.

Pretty much the only thing I use LJ for these days is The Question Club, and that's slowed way way down.

It was never super-active to begin with, but I do miss what activity there once was on jslash7. I want to start a J/7 comm here on DW and see if I can wake up the fandom a bit, but it may have to wait until this semester's over. Anyway.

The JD/Cox community because I've found myself with the urge to read fic for that pairing again recently.
