From another perspective, the song appears to be about the singer being quite, quite sure she wants it (to the point that he must be deaf blind and insane if he's misreading these signals) based on dually implemented courtship interactions in the club.

I think I was agreeing with you guys but I might be misunderstanding. I find the argument that 'the song must be rape because some people's rapists said this to them' to be stupid.

Because it is. The idea that no one can every say "I know you want it" because rapists say it is ridiculous.

Hm. I clearly remember you saying "I'm in it for the lulz, not this" after you asked for a thread defending rape culture to be frozen.
