Yes it could have been done better. I still like it. and the people who were completely awful about it on the board I was at ("calling their kids 'crotch droppings'...what the actual HELL?") made me love it even more.

Granted I'm still quite a bit "meh" on Albus's name now that I understand what the upset is about.

There's a lot of controversy about Albus's middle name being Severus. A lot of people are weirded out that Harry named his son after Snape just because Snape had an obsession with his mother.

I can see both sides of the argument and see why it could be awkward and weird.

Cause it's one thing to let the world know what Snape did for the good side so that he didn't just get remembered as an evil murderer, and another to name your son after the guy who bullied you and your friends, murdered people (not talking about Dumbledore) and only stopped being a Death Eater because ONE person he was obsessed with was about to get murdered because of him.

Ugh, that sounds like Childfree Hardcore. I don't really find that thing "clever" or "funny" at all....just nauseating and dehumanizing.
But wait lemme guess they're probably consider any of Harry and Hermione's progeny to be sweet precious angels.
