EXACTLY. Which is why I cannot see Louis/Armand, no matter what she says. Plus, I can't support her due to the "omg fanfic is evil", even if she's recanted a bit.

It's sad, because she's got a werewolf series out that looks interesting. But I'm worried that if I touch her canon with a 10 foot pole, I'll want to write fanfic and so on and so forth.

I've read both books in the werewolf series and they're...okay. I wouldn't go so far as to say they're bad, necessarily, because I could get through them painlessly, but absolutely every character is smart, beautiful, rich, and saintly, and every conflict has a long-winded exposition-y answer that resolves it immediately instead of allowing it to actually complicate all the wealth and beauty and genius going on. I'm not sure how much fanfiction you could actually get out of a story that's basically Mary Sue fanfiction of itself.
