Anon, I know it's hard when you find a group in a fandom with which you really connect, especially if the fandom's tiny, but you have to believe there's other fandoms out there you can get into. I know what it's like to have a band that's helped you get through, so I get the connection and I'm not saying it's easy, just that it can be done.

Try and put them behind you, no matter how hard it seems. You can find other people to form that same link with, it just takes time.

It's not doing you any good to stay in that fandom, in fact it's doing you harm if you've tried to commit suicide over it. It's not a good place for you anymore, it's toxic. I think the best thing would be for you to get out of it. I see some people are suggesting to find another fandom, but that might be a temporary solution. I'm not sure that'd really help with the underlying issues here.

I would really really encourage you to seek out some form of conseling. If you're a student you might access to counseling from your school, but even if you aren't, please, you need to speak with someone as soon as possible, okay?

Based on what you've written, you need more serious help than any fandom can provide. Whatever mental health services you have access to, I suggest you take full advantage of them. Self-medicating with alcohol and music will only get you so far. You need to work on fixing what's glitchy in your brain that drives you to self-harm--once that's been repaired, you may find that you won't need that fandom anymore.
