Kind of inspired by three.

It seems like a lot of stuff is aimed at young adults, so probably? But I also like some kids' cartoons and stuff.

(I dunno. I'm bad at noticing if something is trying to draw in a certain groups of people.)

Some are. Some aren't. I do pay much attention to that.

A have a few that aren't. Danny Phantom was aimed at 8-10 year old boys. I think more teenage girls got into it that little boys to be honest.

Some are, some are not anymore, and funnily a lot more are finally starting to be aimed at my demographic (saying, I was into some interesting stuff back when I began fandom with... 11?)

I...don't know? I'm mid-forties woman, and i like Supernatural, Avengers/MCU, Falling Skies, Sleepy Hollow, Riddick, Teen Wolf.... Who are they aimed at?

I've no idea. Possibly? My main fandom has an adult rating so I guess?

Pokemon is certainly aimed at kids/teenagers but...Professor Layton would be similar? Not that it will change if I enjoy something or not :P Demographically aimed doesn't mean exclusive

While Professor Layton might be aimed at a younger demographic style-wise, the gameplay is pretty much great for all ages. There are some puzzles in there that I'm not sure I would have completely understood when I was young.

No. Though I think I'm in a weird age where there doesn't seem to be much aimed at my demographic. Which is frustrating at times, but mostly it is what it is and I don't think about it much.

Some are and some aren't. That's the beauty of liking a wide range of things.

Of course. Who else would a show called My Little Pony be aimed at? Little girls? Pssh.

I'm definitely not in the target audience of my main fandom. But then, most of their hardcore fans actually *aren't*, because what they were aiming for was the all-important 18-24yo-male demo and what they got was women-of-all-ages.

Not even close. Damn near all of the shows I watch are targeted towards 12 year olds. They might keep peoples age in mind, but we certainly aren't the target audience.

A lot of my fandoms have such a wide appeal that I don't really know how to pin them to a specific demographic. I have some fandoms where I was part of the intended demographic but grew out of it. I'm in very few fandoms that I'm clearly out of the demographic of, and it usually makes sense because I like some children's shows.

I tend to get into stuff aimed at young kids, so no.

Legend of Zelda and Pokemon. I'm twenty-six, rapidly approaching twenty-seven. So, uh, probably not, heh.

I'm told that my fandoms (sci-fi) are not aimed at my demographic but aimed at the male 20-30 demographic. Whatever.
