What the subject says, especially the whatever part. And the Sims part because I've been playing a lot of Sims 3 lately.

Apparently your Sims can roast the fruits and veggies in their inventory over the fire? And I had mine roast a pumpkin and it was hysterical.

I dunno. I have so many stories about the crazy shit my Sims get up to. Also, a lot of fun shit happens in Fallout 3 but does like anyone play that anymore?

I made my first town with a lot of fandom Sims and Benny from Supernatural married Sulley from Monsters Inc. Also, Dean (from Supernatural) was briefly a prostitute and Benny paid big bucks for his services. Sam's been turned into a vampire like 3 times and Dean caught on fire twice (should be the other way around but that's what happened in my game).

Tell me your game stories.

I just finished LIMBO. I can't tell if I was excited or disappointed.

I have no cool Sims characters. But I love decorating houses NOW THAT I KNOW ABOUT CHEAT CODES!

I wish I loved decorating but I start to get bored after a while. Last house I build I spent five hours and I didn't even decorate it all the way.

I don't really do Sims, but boy do my Animal Crossing characters have a lot of headcanon.

In Wild World, my favorite villager was Derwin, who's a duck. Every time he started to pack up to leave, I would stop him. Then one day a female duck moved into town... the next day, he tried to leave. And he tried to leave like three times in the next two weeks. Meanwhile, the female duck had a bunch of baby toys and a cradle in her house. So my headcanon was that they dated in duck high school or something, he knocked her up, and she'd been trying to track him down ever since he fled. ...Yeah.

Now I'm doing New Leaf, and Curlos (a very round, curly-haired sheep) is my fake boyfriend. At least, I call him that, but I think he's serious. He keeps asking to come to my house, and when he does, he talks about how much he wants to be my roomie. He's also sent me letters suggesting as much, and saying things like "I thought this might come in handy!" and then sending me a bunk bed. The other day I passed him sitting on a bench by the river, and he was like "Hey, sit down next to me! Or if you want, you can take my spot and I'll sit on your lap! :D"

And well, I'm cool with his obsessive crush on me, because he randomly suggests dance parties (which I indulge him in every time), and runs up to me specifically to inform me that he is an ENTHUSIAST, not a geek, and there is a difference, though he also ran up to me the other day to rave about different kinds of trains that have passed through town and the differences between them. He went on for quite some time. And then he also apparently has a crafter side, because he has frequently suggested crafting marathons, and once was like "I want to see your house! Unless you're working on your top secret collage project. But if I came over, I could help! I can sling macaroni with the best of them!"

So basically I have a giant dorky sheep madly in love with me, and I'm sort of torn between shipping my character with him, or with the cute doggie who's my secretary.

That is so freaking cute. Good story!

I'm also bored now and kind of irritated by life, so here, have another cute AC story!

In my town I also had Fuchsia, a deer, and Pekoe, a panda. They were two of my favorites, I basically considered Fuchsia my best friend until she moved out last week (and I miss her) and Pekoe is just really cute and reminds me of one of my coworkers I liked a lot at my last job. She has cool furniture, and had mentioned that the rather large "exotic bed" took up a lot of space in her house, but she was really glad she had gone ahead and gotten a nice big bed so she had plenty of room(this is relevant). And Fuchsia had a weird way of teasing her, like once she asked me if I could catch a turtle because Pekoe reminded her of a turtle and she wanted to compare. XD So I made a point of talking to them both a lot, because they were fun.

So one night really late I was looking everywhere for Fuchsia, because she wasn't at home and I hadn't seen her out and about. Pekoe was at home though, so I decided to stop in and talk to her. Well, turns out Fuchsia was at Pekoe's house! I walked in and the two of them were whistling, as characters tend to do when they've just had an enjoyable conversation with each other, and Pekoe was all like "Oh hi! Fuchsia came to visit me - and now you're both here! This is so great!" I talked to both of them a couple times, then went outside.

Before I'd taken two steps, the clock struck midnight... and Pekoe's lights went out. I turned around, and the "I'm sleeping now, please don't disturb me!" note was up.

FUCHSIA NEVER LEFT.

That explains why Pekoe liked having a bed twice as big as most of the beds... and considering Fuchsia doesn't get up until like 10 or 11 am... if she's staying overnight at Pekoe's and Pekoe turns out the lights at midnight, uhm. I get the feeling they don't go straight to sleep...

So yeah. I totally ship it. Cutest femslash ever.

I had a sim self that I sued to vicariously live through.

I feel bad for that poor Sim now. I made her constantly go to her laptop in any freetime she got to work on or finish a novel and get one out.

Eventually I decided that I would get around to writing if I didn't spend all damn day playing Sims

That's my short sad story.

I live vicariously by making my sims have so many kids.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who has done that.

I've been playing with this one family where they ended up buying all of the businesses in town. I ran out of businesses for them to buy, so I built more clubs/bars (I have the Sims Late Night) and now they make about $300,000 a week. And it's really hard to spend that kind of money considering all of my Sims work.

In fact, I have a butler and a maid just because my Sims make so much money. My one Sim fathered 10 children with 7 women and I've been merging his children with the family and then having them purchase homes to help spend some of this money. I even built a brand home for my Sims and they still have $2,000,000.

Hahaha. One Sim in town had kids with several different women. One of the women had quads so he has like 10 kids now. I wouldn't care except that the oldest sister is married to the brother of my "legacy" family (i play by super loose rules) so when I look at her side of the family tree, it's crazy.

It's the legacy family I was talking about the other day on here where there is only one girl in two generations. Four brothers in the first gen and four boys (between two brothers) and one girl in second gen so far.

They aren't super rich like yours, but rich enough that the adults are self-employed but don't do that much work.

Mine are only super rich because it's been several generations. When I started it was Jamie Jolina, who was a doctor and before she died was making $4000/day. Then her daughter Ruby was making $40,000/week writing novels, her daughter Cecelia was a painter and novelist, her son Timothy was a movie director making $4000, then his son Ryan was a neurosurgeon, his daughter Ava was a novelist and really just tended to the gardens.

I usually don't have many kids in the family because I always feel guilty kicking them out. I'm not too fond of the story progression and haven't figured out what mods I'd want to use, so I just play with each of my families only having one child, marrying someone random in town, and having one child.

Ahhh! Jamie Jolina! I love her. I wish more people played Maxis made Sims because I love hearing what people do with them.

I was like four generations in on Sunset Valley before I completely lost it to bugs. It was pretty devastating because I'd worked so hard maintains the families there. Like, Malcolm Landgraab married Holly Alto and one of their sons married in to Langerak family. Their other son married Anges Crumplebottom's daughter. I was trying to have all all the old families connected by marriage somehow.

The family I'm playing right now (the legacy family), the mother is Laurel Grisby from Riverview (the father is a CAS). I'm on the second generation, though. I love the Grisbys. Like I said, Laurel had four boys. I couldn't choose between the oldest son and the third son, so Laurel and her husband are living with the fourth son for a while and I'm going to choose an heir from those two sons' kids.

I use Nraas story progression (and master controller). It's pretty customizable and helps maintain the town pretty well. I will switch houses just to check up on certain sims I care about though.

I second the rec of NRAAS's mods, particularly Master Controller and Story Progression. I think they make my game so much more fun that I cannot imagine playing without them. (I have a dozen or so mods, and all but 2 are from NRAAS.)

(Although I still have difficulty kicking anyone out of my house.)

Apropos for Halloween:

I'm pretty inured to most horror. I've seen it all, really, and it takes a lot to really scare me anymore.

Silent Hill 3. The hospital. That one storeroom. Jesus Crackers. I turned off my PS2 and didn't come back for like 2 days.

So I joined a World of Warcraft server because it was the server my brother was on...since it was a PvP server, that was a little rough on a n00b non-gamer. (frikkin Alliance curbstomping me every time I wanted to quest at the Crossroads!!) Nonetheless, I persevered, happily collecting vicious-looking pets for my Troll hunter. My primary pet was a raptor, and she was glorious.

ANYWAY. So here I am in a PvP server, going to Outlands for the first time. And I was late in the game, so most people were already at level cap, so there wasn't a lot of people there too. I was bored. So...I started RPing in the zone chat. People mocked me at first, but I just kept up an intermittent running in-character commentary on my quests, and by the end of the day I had the entire zone of jaded PvPers RPing along with me.

The only game I've really put any time into lately is Plants vs Zombies, but after the secret yesterday about Bloodlines reminded me of the franchise, I've been toying with some character concepts for Vampire the Masquerade. Most of them are pretty nebulous and sketchy right now, but the Toreador is starting to grow on me.
