Okay, reposting because I'm a flake. :P

Name @ LJ/DW/tumblr/etc: author_by_night at both, but I hardly ever use DW so you'd have better luck friending me at LJ. http://author-by-night.livejournal.com/ Most of my posts are flocked, hence why it seems like I only post every few weeks. I do post more often than that. Too often. :P

Age/Location: Late twenties, Maryland.

Fandoms: I'm not 100% active in any, so some of these are more things I have a high interest level in. Firefly, Harry Potter (currently re-reading the third book and doing recaps on LJ), Earth's Children, Doctor Who, Parks and Recreation, Mad Men, Buffyverse.


What in fandom interests me: Discussion, speculation, fanfiction, fanvids, parodies, wikis for certain books/shows. I'm probably a little "old school."

What in fandom does NOT interest me: Fanart for Live Action stuff, actor/actress talk (with some exceptions), and shipwars.

Major Non-fandom Interests: History, artsy fartsy stuff, social media, education, travel.

My LJ/DW/tumblr/etc Contains Mostly: It's a mixed bag. Some fandom (for instance, I'm currently re-reading the third HP book and posting about it)), some entertainment commentary and reviews, social commentary, and my
general outlook on life. I do talk about my personal life a bit, but not often.

I, like you, am a bit 'old school' in my approach to fandom. We also share a few fandoms (Firefly and the Buffyverse, and I've read all the Earth's Children books, although I'm not necessarily fannish about them). Is is okay if I add you?
