I haven't watched IT in years but clowns have always creeped the fuck out of me, so this movie wasn't my favorite.

Should also mention that I liked the kid actors but not the adults and the special effects were pretty crappy.

Oh God. The special effects were AWFUL. Especially in that scene in the end, in IT's lair. Just terrible, it looked like a grade school play.
