What is Sean Saves the World and Trophy Wife about?

Once Upon a Time in Wonderland seems like they were trying to milk the success of Once Upon a Time and yet didn't really know how to do that.

The Goldbergs sounds like something I could watch with my parents.

Pretty much. It was originally supposed to be about the Mad Hatter jumping between worlds, but they couldn't get the actor and there was a mass outcry at the thought of recasting, so they just threw together a new story on the fly.

It shows too. The storyline just doesn't hold my interest, it's all just about Alice getting her beloved back, but now I'm curious about the actor who plays the Knave of Hearts.

Sean saves the world is a character played by Sean Hayes (Jack from Will and Grace) who had to deal with an eccentric boss (Tom Lennon) who everyone hates and a daughter who just moved in with him after living with her mom for the past 14 years. Also his mom is constantly over. Fairly standard sitcom stuff from the creator of Better Off Ted, but very funny.

Trophy Wife is about a young (late 20s, I think) woman who marries a lawyer (Bradley Whitford) and has to deal with a sudden new family, including his two ex-wives, all of whom are characters in their own right an not just plot devices. It's pretty good and has moments that are truly hilarious, but ultimately I'm not sure id watch it if not for the fact that it was created by Sarah Haskins, and she deserves the success.

Actually, according to google, it's actually gotten an order for four more episodes. Not quite a full season order, but not cancelled. welcome to the family, it's lead in, was cancelled, however.

Geez, I just realized tht I completely forgot to mention that Sean is gay. It's kinda important to the series.
