I've seen this trend in fic lately where people say "it's not really incest because they are focused on the third person" or something about how yes they're twins and they're fucking one person at the same time, but it's not incest!

Am I the only one that finds this odd? Still seems like incest to me. I just find it weird where people draw their label lines for fic.

Yes.

Why would you deny bestcest the only pure form of love.

That sounds almost as bad as incest stories which have the 'lol one of us is adopted/a half sibling so it doesn't really count' ending.

I didn't think threesomes with siblings where the siblings don't touch each other were ever considered incest? Like, it's not really bi/gay if the guys in a guyguygirl threesome don't touch each other.

Yeah, I agree with this. Like, one time I read a Supernatural fic where Sam and Dean DPed a girl, but they weren't making out or into each other. They were both focused on the girl, and there was no implication that they had romantic feelings for each other.

But I've also read fanfics where Sam and Dean get it on with a girl and one of them is thinking about how hot the other is and/or they also get it on with each other. That's more incesty to me because they definitely have romantic/sexual feelings for one another in those cases.

It just depends on context. In real life, most siblings probably wouldn't be comfortable being in a threesome with each other, but fanfic allows characters to stretch their personal boundaries for the sake of porn.

lol, that's just bizarre. I also hated it when some people in the thor fandom said that since loki was adopted then loki and thor weren't really brothers which means it isn't really incest. um, no. they were raised as brothers for centuries, it's still pretty much incest. like, I'm adopted and the thought of doing my brother makes me gag because we're still siblings even if we aren't related by blood. plus, incest is a pretty popular kink, you can own up to that shit. you don't have to make up bizarro reasons so you pretend something isn't incest.
