Both, I suppose. Killed near a hundred o' them shufflin' corpses and it never gets any easier. Had t'put down my own lady, just the other day. She weren't the best gal out there, in fact she was really somethin' of a cow, but it near killed me when my bullet went 'tween her eyes. Those dead eyes looked right back at me, and I swear there was somethin' of her still in there. She woulda et my brains sooner'n she'd kiss me, but I felt like it still hurt her, like she didn't understand why I done it.

Ain't never gonna forget those eyes o' hers, that day.
