I never could bring myself to watch the movie growing up. I read the book when I was way too young for it and all I can ever remember is that all the little boys ran a train on the little girl in a sewer tunnel, for absolutely no goddamn reason, I mean the monster wasn't even involved they had already beaten it WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK, STEPHEN KING.

I'm pretty sure that part didn't make it into the movie, but the title still leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I always think I may try to watch it one Halloween when it's on, because "classic horror movie," but eh.

The underage gangbang most definitely did not make it into the miniseries, though I share your WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK, STEPHEN KING sentiment about that scene.
