That's pretty much how I feel about the show, except it's more of a mild enjoyment.

I am having loads more fun this season than last though, even if Silver Spoon and Uchouten Kazoku were pretty fun!

Get better friends then. KLK is awesome.

Heh, I have the opposite issue. I didn't really care for Kill la Kill -- I didn't hate it and in a less crowded season I'd probably keep watching it, but it just didn't hook me enough to make me want to tune in for more. Meanwhile it seems like everyone else online is gushing over it and how it's the best show ever and everyone needs to watch it right now.

Wow. Whether it's here, wankgate, or rpanons, this show will bring both sides of the argument and derail any genuine commentary.

There was almost a discussion yesterday in general comments. Almost.

Aww, that must have been disappointing. The "almost" discussion I mean, not Kill la Kill itself.

I also really like the show. It's a ton of fun.

It definitely has some gross problems, and I'm more than willing to acknowledge them (and yeah sometimes they make me uncomfortable), but I still have a blast watching it on the whole. The only show I probably look forward to as much as it every week is Samurai Flamenco.

It's a hell of a lot more fun than Free! or Shingeki no Kyojin, that much is for sure.

actually watching two overrated but still decent shows is a lot more fun than having a PTSD flashback because some random japanese dude thinks rape is hilarious

I have absolutely zero problem with people disliking KLK because it triggers them or makes them uncomfortable (or disliking it for any reason, really). There's plenty there to do so. In fact I even posted about how much the people that defend the skeevy elements frustrate me today.

(I don't think I'd even put SnK on the level of decent though.)

It's like people like you don't even know what fanservice is. You don't like it or are uncomfortable with it, fine, but there's nothing wrong with having sexualized females just like there's nothing wrong with having sexualized males in media targeted to women. Let people have their faps.
