I think people who enjoy writing tl;dr posts on Tumblr and want others to read them need to think about what their style is like. So many posts I go to read and there's gifs all over, light grey text on white backgrounds, tiny itty bitty texts, music and sparkles or one time snowflakes falling over the whole page....it's a nightmare.

It frustrates me to no end how many people (not just on tumblr) don't realize that readability is really important. If I can't navigate or read what you're saying, I'm no longer interested.

Yes. WHITE text on BLACK background is the worst thing ever. GO AWAY I'll never read a single fucking post that is white-on-black.

That's a bit subjective. When my sensory issues are acting up, I'd much rather read white-on-black than black-on-white.

Ultimately, I think what Tumblr really needs is the equivalents of format=light and style=mine. People's shitty layout decisions wouldn't matter so much if it was easier to control your own viewing experience.

I sometimes check the pages of people who reblog a GIF of mine because I love reading tags. Man...I have seen some shitty themes. So many shitty themes. O.O

My least favourite are the ones where the sidebar is static but the theme is too big for my screen resolution, so when I scroll horizontally, the sidebar starts obscuring the post. It's not like my resolution is tiny!
