Someone brought a baby flying squirrel into my workplace today and I got to hold it and I waaaaant onnnnnnnne. Brb, shaking trees.

I went looking around the house for my cat today and could not find him in any of his usual places. I cannot guarantee it (because one minute he was no where in sight and the next he was right there in the middle of the room) but I think he was sleeping behind a flap of fabric and in the mechanism of an old recliner. He's been there 2-3 times in the past. Nobody uses the chair so there was no real danger, but it's not a good place to hide, so I hope some safety pins on the flap will put him off it.

Oh man, they are the cutest damn things! Keep in mind, though, that they can live up to 15 years when healthy, and they look like snacks to pretty much all other animals. If you're planning on having a dog/cat/reptile/bird at any point, beware!
