I just found her really selfish and the tragic MY PARENTS ARE DEEEEAAADDDD explanation doesn't fly when both Eliwood and Hector get hit with hardship after hardship without throwing temper tantrums. She's also a big bundle of noble savage tropes. There's only so much self righteous ~THE PLAINS~ one can stand.
But you say this in fandom and it's like omg female character hate. No, she's the fandom's #1 waifu; she's not hated at all and I like almost every other lady lead in the series. They're not obnoxious brats excused with the "headstrong" explanation, and when they are obnoxious or make mistakes, the games don't wave it away with oh but her special culture or something. I really wish the story actually treated it like a bad thing, rather than her being a super-speshul ~*free spirit*~ who's so above all the mundane non-plains losers.

Well she IS mai waifu, but I respect and understand people who dislike her.

thank you!

nayrt

Huh, I was kind of surprised by this secret because I didn't think it was possible to hate her. Pretty much just a hero with basic heroic traits, maybe bland at worst? Who is a non-sexualized fighter woman with a great design? Not that I'm discounting your opinion, just surprised!

I loved FE, but didn't even know it had a fandom. lol

great design... nonsexualized... I don't care about her one way or the other, but she could stand to wear some pants like the male equivalents of her class do. js. the slit on her skirt goes all the way to her hip, and "but movement" is fine, but... again, all the guys wear leggings or pants. it might not be in your face T&A, but it's a deliberate exposure.

I loved FE, but didn't even know it had a fandom.

This made me cringe a little bit. D: Are we really that small of a community compared to other Nintendo franchises?

are you actually in this fandom? i see tons of lyn hate.

"Tons" meaning like two or three people? Nah, I'll say tons when it touches Micaiah or Shadow Dragon. A couple of people making criticism != tons of "hate".

Are YOU actually in this fandom? Every time I've seen someone say even that Lyn wasn't the main character, which isn't bashing, it's the truth, her fandom flips out. She's the most-requested FE character for Smash Brothers online outside people who want Roy back. "Tons of Lyn hate" sounds like "baww a couple people don't like her."
