I have an irrational dislike for her too, but I have no idea why. I never had a roommate who looked like her.

I dislike characters (and sometimes people) who share the same name as people I've had bad experiences with or who have an annoying voice/something in their voices that reminds me of people I didn't like. When I get to know them, it may change. It's pretty normal, I guess. You probably won't meet Björk in RL and you don't have to listen to her music, so it should be fine.

I have a totally rational dislike for her due to the footage of her attacking a female reporter who simply said: "welcome to [wherever]" at an airport.

I have an irrational aversion to her voice. It isn't terrible or anything, but I just can't seem to listen to it for any amount of time.

It's just an association thing that happens to a lot of people. For example, I cringe at the name "Amy" because of someone who was really and truly terrible to me, and I feel so awful for every other Amy who is not terrible, but it's a weird thing that puts me off (obviously interacting with nice Amys means I don't let it ruin everything, but the initial, uncontrollable cringe still happens).

I've had an extremely strong reaction to somebody because of the after shave they were wearing, simply because I associated that scent with a person who I absolutely loathed.

Human mind is a funny thing.
