To some extent, but then we're back in the wank about what makes a 'Mary Sue' and why does having a competent woman always have to mean 'bad characterization'.

It helps that her 'super-power' isn't really very super. She can just tell when Wraith are close by because she has some Wraith DNA--something not unique to her either, but had by more than a few people in the PEgasus galaxy. ^^
