Confused: Do you want fic about westerns or nothing that isn't American/Canadian/European/Australian? What do you have against the east?

Maybe they just don't want anime? Or can't watch Korean soaps where they live. (And that would be a travesty.)

And, to think, I was going to try to rec fic for Westerns. Like, cowboys and such. (Not that I really have any relating to depression, but I was trying to think of some.)
