Who is he? He helped discover/publish the double-helix model for DNA, along with Crick and using Rosalind Franklin's X-ray crystallography data (and no credit for her).

From someone who has actually heard him give a guest lecture, even then he was really high on himself and dismissive and rude to others. Then there are his comments and quotes which are pretty sexist. Previous wiki quote is enlightening. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Watson#Controversies)
