I agree, she had some very creepy scenes - she was forcing a small child into this small, scary cave where she could drown, just for a diamond. But on the plus side, she had two alligator henchmen. People don't give the Rescuers enough credit. It's slower-paced than some others, but the atmosphere of the swamp (Everglades? Bayou? not sure) was great.
Look at how creepy this fucking place is.
