No, it's your attitude and your entitlement people have a problem with.
Being told to stop talking about a recent elementary shooting around an elementary kid is hardly sheltering them. It's called sensitivity and tact. Something you apparently don't understand.

I'll make it simple. Someone not wanting their ELEMENTARY KID to not be worried about YET ANOTHER elementary shooting does not mean they're sheltering their kids from bad things ever.

If you don't want to be told off for being an ass in a public area kids will be going into, be professional and don't talk about school shootings in a workplace environment that fucking children will be in the vicinity.
