Online Roleplaying Recs?

[personal profile] chardmonster 2013-10-22 11:46 pm (UTC)(link)
Anyone know a good mud/mush/browser based game for roleplaying, or a sort of play-by-post or message thing? Something with good writers? Any FS people running one or looking to start one? Genre doesn't matter.

I used to play (still do, just not so often) a browser based rpg (hollowgame.com) but most of the people I liked there either moved on or have reduced availability. I'm damn good if I say so myself, but I need people to play off of.

I prefer games that have original characters, but fandom settings are just fine by me.

I miss writing this stuff!

If you want play by post stuff, go check out rpg-directory. It's got a ton of active sites there, both original and fandom, so you should find something you're interested in. Plus, failing to find a site [and there's a board to ask for recs of sites you're specifically looking for], you can look for a onexone partner there as well.

Thanks for the suggestion! Found what looks like a pretty kickass Mass Effect rpg.
