I'm going to some kind and meet and greet event for my new job. I'm pretty nervous! It's low level public service position, but it's still an, ah, higher class than I've been in before.
So very worried I'll stuff up.

You'll be great!

If there's alcohol, either don't drink or have one drink veeeerrry slowly. If you're nervous, you'll drink stuff really quickly and then get drunk accidentally. I've seen it happen before. :(
