I've never seen anyone in fandom make fun of someone else for being in fandom. I've seen people tell others they're over-invested in stuff (both as concrit and making fun), I've seen people look down on other fan's fandoms because they aren't the same one as theirs, and I've seen delusional fans cross the line and threaten entertainers and other fans react to that, but none of those things are someone in fandom making fun of someone else just for being in fandom. And I can't help but wonder if maybe you aren't delusional because you can't tell the difference.
