Anon from last night...

I'm not sure if any of you still remember me, but I was the anon from last night who was in need of advice. Yes, the one that had lied about some personal details and wanted to rekindle their friendship with some fandom friends. Consider this little post a sort of update on my situation. I came out and confessed to two of my friends (who are probably my closest, and seemed to be some of the only few that noticed I went missing), and they actually forgave me and said that everyone makes mistakes, but that it's OK as long as we move on from them and become better from them. I've also make a new account, so I am associating myself with some of the embarrassing stuff much less. I just wanted to extend some thank yous to all of you who replied to my thread last night with advice, because I think that's what ultimately gave me the push to confess.
