I thought that was a boring-ass book, but then...I read it in fifth grade.

I've seen it mentioned a few separate times on the internetz lately...is it gaining popularity?

Recently there's been an online project called the Moby Dick Big Read, where they got a bunch of well known actors to read separate chapters. Haven't listened to it myself (the William Hootkins audiobook will always be my personal favorite), but I remember Benedict Cumberbatch and... I think Stephen Fry (?) being part of the cast, amongst many others. Maybe it got a few people interested?
