Re: Fandom Sims!

I always do fandom neighborhoods and they are the BEST. What I usually do is populate an entire neighborhood with fandom characters and then pick one character or household to stick with (most recently I'm doing one with Zaal'Koris from Mass Effect - which, of course, totally just outed me on the off-chance that anyone who knows me on Tumblr is here. Ah well. XD)

But then I let story progression handle the entire rest of the town and the results are hilarious. Off the top of my head:
Starscream and Rarity hooked up in several separate neighborhoods and proceeded to have a tumultuous on-again off-again relationship.
Wheatley, from Portal 2, dated every single woman from Doctor Who before finally settling down with Granny Smith.
Martha Jones wound up with Kyon from Haruhi Suzumiya, which I always thought was a great match.
I don't set their sexual orientations to match canon/headcanon unless I'm actually playing them, but Big Macintosh has been gay more than once (only one of his boyfriends I can remember is Thundercracker, from Transformers).
Wrex dated River Song, but she cheated on him, so he wound up getting together with Twilight Sparkle instead.

...then of course there was the time that I had a bunch of my favorite pairings be NPCs in a town and then they all broke up. D: D: Nooooo.
