Dafuq are you on about?

When a girl gets run out of her hometown for speaking up about being raped and having her house burnt down...or people attack a victim for ruining the future of her rapists for speaking out and gets shamed by everyone....or a 13 year old girl who got suckered into a relationship with an 18 year old boy and then called a "whore" by a fucking adult who should know better.....

Those are small pockets of people. When the population of the US sees these things they are appalled and support the victim. Unless you are going to tell me a tiny, tiny, tiny, tiny portion of a people that are part of a culture define that culture. Because if that is the case...

Not always dude...not always...

besides...why does it have to be one or the other. Seriously, one gender doesn't have owner ship of victimhood. Women are affected by it as well as people in prisons. Women still get told it's their fault for being raped or taken advantage of.

Tumblr can be radical....but it depends on who you follow. I follow a small circle of people most of which I know or have communicated with. Thus I get a lot of people with good sense in their heads.

I wouldn't judge feminism or activism by Tumblr though, if I were you.

...the internet gets outraged, but not always the community where it takes place. And not the entire internet is in the same boat either.

And like another anon said, rape culture isn't just about women. I don't think it's limited to men in prisons either. Men and women, in and out of prison, are affected by it.
