I don't actually think they are. I'd interpret most of these comments as people talking about wanting to have sex. I mean, you can have sex with people you're not attracted to, that part is a choice, but you don't actually want to have sex with them = no attraction.

No, I'm going to disagree with you there. In my whole life I've only ever wanted to have sex with one person, but I've experienced attraction (yes, including a physical response) to others.

Now we're getting into how "want" can mean "I want to actually make the choice to do this or at least have the option to", but also "I can see this happening and the idea appeals to me, but I don't want to actually go for it". Both are legitimate.

I guess? I mean if I can see myself enjoying sexual contact the idea may still not appeal to me because the consequences would be far too great or some other reason. But maybe I'm just mincing words at this point xD;
