He is wonderful, isn't he? I think you'll find that when you find the right person, they suddenly have all the traits you find attractive, so don't lose hope, OP. I mean, they might not *look* like Dale, but their face will be the thing you want to see every minute of the day, and they might not talk like Dale, but they'll say things that make you melt. It's how love works.

Not OP, but agreed. While probably no-one can be held to the same standards as Cooper (who after all is a fictional character), if you know what traits you like most about Dale - or men in general- and keep looking for them, chances are you might find someone with those traits.

Also, never say never: An acquaintance of mine was in her 50s when she got engaged to a good-looking and very considerate man, so I think there's still hope to find someone :).

On a final note: Where did you find that picture of Coop? It's gorgeous.
