I think...it's just too squicky for that. I mean, femdom bdsm is cool if that's your groove (I kinda like it sometimes), but watching them onscreen is genuinely unpleasant for me because it reminds me of watching a friend try to get out of a bad relationship IRL, only in Bolin's case, no one is helping him. He really wants to be done, he's constantly being trapped by a person who treats him horribly (which he does not seem to be into), he asks for help getting out, and no one helps.

And then she was hunting him down, which is just so much no.

The pieces are there for it to be funtimes, but the execution just makes me go nopenopenope.
