I can't stand making out scenes either! But it is worst when you are with your family and a sex scene comes up and you are just like....OH LOOK I HAVE TO USE THE BATHROOM!

The worst was when I went to see Atonement. I went with my parents because I was 16 and wanted to see it, but couldn't see an R-Rated movie alone. The sex scene in that movie, while important, has no music, you hear sounds, and it feels VERY intimate. While I love that movie I was so embarrassed.

For me it was A History of Violence. D: That was brutal.

I refuse to watch any movie that's rated anything over PG-13 with my mom for this reason. The nigh-unavoidable gross kissing is bad enough, but I will check the fuck out if some Game-of-Thrones shit pops up on the screen. I feel so much secondhand for the families who went to see Black Swan thinking the worst thing they'd see was some psychological horror and ballet.

WHAT YOU SAID ABOUT BLACK SWAN - THIS WAS ME
I went with a male casual acquaintance of mine, and we kind of spent those scenes cringing and making awkward comments about video game.
When the movie was over we left the theater and he says to me, "so you know, I'm actually schizophrenic"

and I was like fml can I erase this entire evening please
