Podcasts?

(Aw yeah, I'm up for an F!S post for the first time in a while.) I usually listen to podcasts to help me sleep but I've listened to pretty much every episode of every series I follow.

Anyone have any suggestions for good, informative podcasts? I like discussion and factual things, like Stuff You Should Know, The Why Factor, etc. but anything sort of fiction/drama based would be good too, since I've enjoyed Welcome to Night Vale recently.

I was actually wondering about other fiction/drama based podcasts after listening to WTNV as well but I never came across anything. (I didn't look super hard, haha, but I also don't know where to look.)

There's The Thrilling Adventure Hour (www.thrillingadventurehour.com), which is a monthly live comedy show in LA in the style of an old-time radio show. Segments get released in podcast form about three times a month.

Ooo, I like the look of this! It seems like they've had a lot of great people on, too. I'm definitely going to give this a shot; three times a month sounds perfect. Thank you for the suggestion!

Haha yeah, I'm kinda the same with the WtNV stuff. Ah well, I did get some good general podcasts suggests so yay! :D

I mostly listen to comedy podcasts, but I really like the Freakonomics podcast and the comedy program (but also sometimes informational) Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me. The Freakonomics podcast is really fun, though.

Thanks for these! Downloaded an episode of Wait Wait Don't Tell Me and can't wait to listen to it. I'll check out Freakonomics when I can, too (USB port issues, ugh.) But yeah, thanks again :)

I highly recommend Jake and Amir's "If I Were You Show." It's hilarious, but they talk about a lot of dirty things, so Idk if that would bother you or not.
