Sounds like actual flesh and bodily fluids rubbing up together are just a bit too visceral for you. Out of interest, what do you feel about live action sex scenes/porn in general?

I can't speak for the OP, but I know quite a few people who read/write mf, ff, and mm porn for anime and manga fandoms, but don't enjoy watching live action porn of any type. (And 75% of them have active and varied sex lives.)

Oddly enough, the sounds/fluids that go along with actual sex scenes don't bother me. It seems to be specifically kissing and those damn smacking noises. (And it is nice to see I'm not the only one turned off by Hollywood kissing!)

I'm personally fine with flesh and bodily fluids rubbing up against each other, in person, as long as it isn't chewing. In the movies or shows, I just hate the exaggerated smack-smack-kiss-slurp-GASP GASP PANT MOAN SMACK SMACK GASP that most sex or passionate scenes are made of. It sounds fake and like they're trying too hard to make it ~sexy~.
