So, I'm feeling in the mood for doing some creative voice work, so I figured I'd crowdsource this.

Let's do a vocaroo thread, but let's have people prompt with lines, or passages, or samples of books, scripts, poems any kind of written text I guess. Then someone reads that prompt to fill it, almost like the way a fic prompt works.

The twist is that it has to be emotionally invested, in some way. Angry, happy, sad, thoughtful, whatever-- we need to hear it in the actor/reader's voice as much as it's in the text. I'll link with an example below.

He fell back, to the side of the small hole in the pin retrieval area of Lane 5. Blood welled through his shirt; and here I am. Stuck in my booth. Useless. Only able to narrate, and not to help. He staggered, fell to his knees; so much blood. He collapsed completely. Curse this town, that saw Carlos die. Curse me. Curse it all.
