Asexual tends to be a label for lack of sexual desire, whereas bi/het/gay/etc is a label for who asexual people would be romantically attracted to. So yeah, gay asexual is a valid real thing.

And I don't think it would be "cheating" at all. It's still a romantic relationship/a gay couple. To say it doesn't count is pretty much saying any asexual relationship isn't a "real" relationship and is pretty insulting.

I'd love to see more asexual representation. I've only ever seen it mentioned once, and it was a short lived quickly cancelled TV show. :(
