Re: Would asexual characters count as gay?

To be honest, I'd be pretty annoyed by it because gay characters rarely get to kiss on TV and it would read to me like they wanted brownie points without actually representing LGBT characters, but asexuals sometimes develop romantic but non-sexual relationships (sometimes with members of the same gender) so there's that.

Plenty of asexuals enjoy kissing and cudlling. As far as I can tell 'intimacy drives' and 'sex drives' are kind of separate things.
