I think I worded myself badly. My point was that this case shows how bad stereotypes are, and hopefully reminds Europe to rethink racism toward them. My second sentence was more general, if there's reason to believe a child has been kidnapped I think it ought to be investigated (provided suspicion is not founded upon racism).
