(Anonymous) 2013-10-26 02:30 pm (UTC)(link)Like the other anon mentioned, some fandoms age their characters up and down to get more extreme underage situations. SPN is one of those fandoms, although you can avoid most of it if you avoid the kinkmeme.
For anime fandoms, I usually stick to anime that stars older characters myself (Tiger and Bunny, for example) but I also like things like Hunter x Hunter. Unfortunately, Hunter x Hunter has a psychotic adult character who is canonically attracted to the (then 12 years old) protagonist. It goes exactly the direction you might think.
