I feel ya on the sounds. Yuck. The kissing itself doesn't bother me as much as long as we're not watching their tongues tango. But I've never liked hearing someone else's smacky kissing sounds. (Brings me back to high school and couples making out in the hallway, which was forbidden but they did it anyway. The worst part was walking by them and hearing that awful smack.)

Animated kissing is usually fine. Again, I don't care for seeing tongues, but that doesn't happen as often anyway IME.
