I honestly can tell you that the show has turned to worse. The acting is really forced and not flowing and natural anymore, it's like punchline after punchline and no casual smalltalk in between. I think it is very different from what it used to be.
And I am a big fan of the show. Just not the latest seasons. To me a great finale would've been Sam going to hell and Dean starting to live his own life. Can't remember what season that was exactly. Or something along those lines. But no, gotta keep going.

Some things are just not tasty anymore because they're chewed out. They just can't stop because they have a great team and a firm fanbase that don't want the show to ever end. But to me it's lived out its best days.
