So, in what is it even worth mentioning?
(and I think that's OP's point here. Not that they don't like height difference, more that they don't get why it's even important, considering that given height statistics, in a couple it's rather the norm than the exception that the man is taller than the woman?)
Unless the height difference is much bigger than it shows on this pic.

I don't see what the big deal is, but if people like it they probably ARE going to talk about it, so the only way to avoid it is to stay out of the fandom.
