That sucks, OP. I've been going to at least one con a year since high school, and so far I've haven't had any really bad experiences. (Just internal group drama which was hilarious in hindsight and even somewhat hilarious when it was happening, yay!)

Body odor probably existed at the ones I went to, but luckily I have a terrible sense of smell, so it's never been a problem for me. I'm sure sexual harassment goes on like it does in the rest of life. I've never heard of people insulting/physically attacking others for cosplaying characters they don't like. That's just... yeah, weird.

I've heard of people being attacked - but in the "I hate that character!" sense. It's usually a "The character I'm cosplaying is physically abusive to your character, so have a frying pan to the head for ic-ness!" type stuff, sadly.
