I just read 'Kyle in Chains', the Kyle/Cartman South Park fanfic.

....I actually enjoyed it quite a bit. I mean, some of the kinks explored weren't to my taste, but the characterisation and dialogue was pretty damn spot on for the most part.

I tried reading some South Park fic once. I don't know what I thought of it. I just couldn't reconcile the fic with the show.

That's what I thought at first, but for whatever reason I was craving South Park fanfiction and got really into that particular fic. It's also really weird reading smut and imagining those voices in your head. O_o

That is an absolutely awesome fic! The characterisation is absolutely spot on as you've said. It's a shame that it isn't completed though. The author seems to have disappeared. Do you have any Cartman/Kyle recs?

I feel a bit ashamed for that I ship Cartman/Kyle so hard.

Thank you. I'm a bit relieved that I'm not the only one on this comm that does. It's one of the few ships I'm embarassed/ashamed of shipping.. Mostly since it's a Cartman ship and he's such a racist, homophobic, misogynistic asshole with no decent qualities whatsoever. But holy shit, does Cartman/Kyle ship fascinate me.

I know that feeling. Most of the time, I can't read fic for it or South Park in general, but there are times where I absolutely crave it. So I go on a reading binge. There's some fantastic fic out there.

Yeah, it would have been nice to have the epilogue. As it is, I'm glad it's such a substantial fic.

Unfortunately I don't have any other recs! That was the first South Park fic I ever read, I picked it at random from the recommendations page on TV Tropes. There are some other Kyle/Cartman fics on there though, I think.
(hahaha, I didn't think I'd ever become a shipper of anything in South Park but... yeah.)

It's alright. I will check out the tvtrope page and go through my bookmarks to find something to read. If I find anything, would you like recs for anything that I find?
