Can you imagine how light-headed she felt after that? That huge of a change was probably DIZZYING. I got my hair down to my butt and cut it to my chin and was dizzy for like an hour. Rapunzel should have been fuckin' bedridden for days with that shit. At the very least unable to sit up without feeling sick. And her NECK! Her neck must have felt AWESOME. Talk about a load off.

/totally not the point

Yes! I know what you mean!!

I can totally picture her having almost bobble-headed moments because she isn't used to not having that counterweight when she moves her head around because all the hair is gone! That and needing to constantly touch her neck and hair because it feels so different now.

Haha, I recently did something similar. I didn't feel dizzy but omg the weight lifted was amazing. I actually felt taller, of all things. Like my head was up high and I was standing up and freeeeeeeee.

I choose to believe that her hair had magical levitating properties. Something that thick and heavy would otherwise be a real pain in the neck to lug around.

There's actually a picture book that establishes she did feel off balance when her hair was cut, which I thought was neat.

I've never had really long hair. But when my hair was at its longest (just past my boobs) and I got it cut above my shoulders, it was so freeing! I'd totally forgotten what it felt like to have short hair! And I used a lot less shampoo when washing it, which was awesome!

Haha, I got my hair cut short for the first time a few months ago, and the first time I showered afterward I used SOOOO much more shampoo than I actually needed (ie, the usual amount I'd needed before)... I was like, "Oh! :D "
