I'll probably pull out my Kate Bishop non-costume to wear while I hand out candy. And to wear to the Thor 2 early screening.

This coming weekend is Youmacon, and I don't have a room at the con hotel for Thursday (it's close enough I was just going to drive over Friday morning), but I know of cheap hotels in the area, so I was thinking I might go over there and enjoy some at-con trick-or-treating stuff they're doing, and wear one of my large unwieldy costumes while the halls aren't too crowded yet... Kapp'n and his boat in particular are going to be fun, but uncomfortable once things get busy.

But then Thursday night is also karaoke night for my local folks, and our regular DJ had a stroke last month so his wife's been filling in at the bar we go to (which we had been going to solely because our regular DJ is amazing and that was where he had been doing regular gigs) - and she said he might come along to see everyone. Plus, my girlfriend and I had the thought of wearing our Bill and Ted costumes, and singing a bunch of Van Halen and Poison and 80s rock in general. XD So I think that wins.

(Which reminds me, I should see about looking up some hair metal duets we could learn and do. Only one I remember off the top of my head is Ozzy Osbourne and Lita Ford's "Close My Eyes Forever".)

If I had black tracksuit pants I'd go as David Leatherhoff, but since I don't I'm just a dude in an Afraid of Monsters hoodie.

I work in an animal shelter, so I am dressing up as a black cat (long sleeve shirt & pants, pointy ears, fake nails, etc). Boring, I know, but I'm excited for it. I assembled most of my costume today, but I still need to Google how to paint my face.

Upon reflection, I will probably end the day as a weird calico cat, after everything in the shelter sheds on me.

I'll wear cat-ears if I remember, but Halloween isn't a big thing where I live so I tend to forget about it.

Not this year. I was thinking about dolling my horse up as Rarity, but I doubt I'm going to have the time and energy to do it this Halloween.

I don't know where you're from, but college halloween parties are definitely a thing here.

I'm probably just donning a monk's robe.

It was originally part of a tonberry costume, but we get enough very young children through our neighborhood that doing door duty wearing any sort of mask tends to end in tears.

Yep! Wearing my Vriska cosplay again. It's not a new one for me, but it's fun to keep getting better at it every time I wear it. :D

The Pokemon club at my school is having a costume contest and it meets on Thursdays anyway, so it's perfect. I'm glad that it'll be somewhere where a bunch of people who will appreciate it can see it (there are several Homestucks in the club, not to mention a crapton of general nerdiness).

ETA: we should have a f!s costume picture post after Halloween :D
