Well, shipping slash is, too, sort of. Destiel fans were told flat out that Destiel doesn't exist and that Dean is not Bisexual lol I'm guessing there's going to be a lot of tears shed after the series finale for the people who went back to watch the show for canon!Destiel.

the guy that said that barely worked for the show and Misha has sense been all "they DO have a connection even if the show won't go any further than that"... so eh. slashers is something entirely different. at least their ship can have positive interactions and actually SURVIVE (even when they die it's temporary)... the female characters don't have any of those luxuries
